The Zoom interview clip shows Shahid Kapoor talking to Chang and saying, “Badi picturein karein ga tu Chang agar is tarah bolta rahega toh, shabash.” To this, Chang replied, “Nahi karni na mujhe.” Shahid further said, “Ye picture ki release ke baad hi bol deta, itna interest kyun dikha raha hai.”

This had Anushka jumping in to Chang’s defence and telling Shahid, “Aapne toh cast nahi kiya hai na.” This led to an awkward moment caught on camera. While reverting to Anushka, Shahid said, “Aap kyun beech mein kood rahi hain waise, do logon ke beech mein?” To this, the actress said, “Aap aise generalise kiya na.” Later, Shahid continued, “Abhi toh main Chang se baat kar raha tha na,” and suggested that interrupting in between was Anushka’s old habit, which irked her, and she snapped at Shahid, saying, “Shut up, Shahid.”
Reportedly, as the situation turned uncomfortable, the interview was wrapped shortly afterwards.
