One photograph is said to show the singer swinging around a pole on the night before the fatal incident. Other images reportedly show hotel employees taking alcohol to his room.

Photos from the following day allegedly capture Payne meeting two women in the hotel lobby. The women later told investigators that the singer performed songs for them and asked about getting cocaine. According to the report, he also sought help making crack cocaine.

Prosecutors had previously said that Payne consumed large quantities of alcohol and cocaine during his final day and spent time with two women.

Hotel Staff Raised Alarm Before Fatal Fall

Concerns about Payne’s condition intensified shortly before his death. Hotel staff reportedly carried him from the lobby back to his room after his behaviour became increasingly worrying.

An employee subsequently contacted emergency services and expressed concern that Payne could harm himself, specifically pointing out that his hotel room had access to a balcony.

Payne later fell approximately 46 feet from the third-floor balcony. Investigators subsequently indicated that he may have been attempting to leave the hotel when the fall occurred.

Toxicology results found cocaine, crack cocaine, ketamine and alcohol in his system.

Liam Payne Had Been In Argentina For 16 Days

Payne had travelled to Argentina 16 days before his death while waiting for his US visa to be renewed. During the earlier part of the trip, he spent time with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, and businessman Rogelio “Roger” Nores.

Reports suggested that Payne remained sober for much of the first two weeks. Cassidy returned to Miami on October 14, two days before his death.

Payne had initially been staying with Cassidy at the Park Hyatt. However, following an alleged confrontation with hotel employees and an incident involving damage to his room, he moved to the CasaSur Palermo Hotel.

It was there, on October 16, that the singer’s trip to Buenos Aires ended in tragedy, triggering an extensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
