The weekday drops in the first week may have raised some concerns about the film’s trend, but as expected, Hollywood releases tend to perform stronger over the weekends and witness dips during the weekdays. The film has already shown a jump in business over the weekend, with an even bigger surge expected today.
The film is likely to collect over Rs. 75 crore in its second weekend, with the possibility of crossing Rs. 80 crore. By Sunday, it is expected to surpass Avengers: Endgame and potentially even Avatar: The Way of Water to become the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India. If it falls short on Sunday, the milestone is likely to be achieved by Monday.
From there, the film is expected to comfortably cross the Rs. 500 crore mark and could finish its theatrical run in the Rs. 550-575 crore range.

Spider-Man Review
CNN-News18 Showsha gave the film 3.5 stars and wrote in its review,“The beautiful part is that Brand New Day doesn’t pitch Spider-Man against the backdrop of a world crisis or multiversal danger. Rather, it tells the story of a young man who has lost everything in the process of saving the same world. A perfect follow-up to an event film like Spider-Man: No Way Home, but also a nod to the current MCU timeline and the new Avengers. No, this may not be the greatest Spider-Man film ever made. But it is undoubtedly one of the franchise’s most heartfelt entries. If you are someone who loves superhero films, it is only fair to enjoy this one on the big screen with your 3D glasses on.”
