Got Question about the News?

Uorfi Javed clarifies that she did not block Apoorva Mukhija and claims Rebel Kid was the one who blocked her on social media.

The fallout between Uorfi Javed and Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as Rebel Kid, became one of the most discussed equations to emerge from The Traitors Season 1. Months later, their relationship is back in focus after Apoorva revisited the show and admitted that watching it again has completely changed the way she views Uorfi.

While Apoorva showered her former co-contestant with praise, she also mentioned that the two had seemingly blocked each other on social media. Uorfi has now stepped in with a clarification, insisting that she never blocked Apoorva.

Uorfi Javed Says Rebel Kid Blocked Her

Uorfi addressed the renewed chatter through a video on social media and made her side of the story clear.

“Maine Rebel Kid ko block nahi kiya hua hai. Usi ne mujhe kiya hua hai,” Uorfi said, claiming that it was Apoorva who had blocked her.

She then added a characteristically cheeky clarification about her own blocking policy. “I never block girls, I only block my ex-boyfriends,” Uorfi said before signing off with, “Peace out.”

Her response came after Apoorva spoke about Uorfi while revisiting the first season of The Traitors.

Rebel Kid Has A Change Of Heart About Uorfi

Apoorva admitted that she had developed a very different opinion of Uorfi after rewatching their season. Introducing the unexpected confession, she said she was about to say something nobody would have anticipated from her.

“I have rewatched Season 1 and I have newfound respect and love and appreciation for Uorfi Javed,” Apoorva said.

She went on to praise Uorfi’s ability to keep the reality show entertaining and even compared her presence with the contestants currently appearing in Season 2.

“Like the entire cast of Traitors Season 2 ka combined is not as entertaining as Uorfi,” she said.

Apoorva also remembered one of Uorfi’s memorable moments from their season, when she dramatically promised to shave her head if she turned out to be a traitor. Recalling the line, “Agar main Traitor nikli to mai ganji ho jaungi,” Apoorva described Uorfi as pure “entertainment”.

Apoorva Says She Would Have Tagged Uorfi

Despite the praise, Apoorva acknowledged that things between them remain complicated off-screen.

In an Instagram Story, she explained why she had not tagged Uorfi while complimenting her. “I think we have blocked each other varna I would have 1000% tagged her,” she wrote.

Uorfi’s subsequent response has now challenged that version slightly. According to her, the blocking wasn’t mutual and Apoorva was the one who blocked her.

Neither of them, however, has indicated whether Apoorva’s newfound appreciation could lead to a reconciliation.

Uorfi Agrees Season 1 Delivered More Drama

There is at least one thing Uorfi and Apoorva appear to agree on: The Traitors Season 1 had an entertainment factor that they believe the current season hasn’t matched.

Reacting to Apoorva’s comparison, Uorfi described the Season 1 contestants as “peak content”. She pointed out that the drama among the participants wasn’t limited to what viewers watched on the reality show.

According to Uorfi, their clashes and equations spilled into real life even after filming ended, giving viewers plenty to talk about outside the episodes as well.

She felt the Season 2 contestants haven’t created the same kind of off-screen drama so far.
