Uttarakhand CM Responds To Rishabh Pant’s Plea, Promises ‘All Possible Assistance’ After Cricketer’s ‘Nightmare’ Post
Taking note of Rishabh Pant’s plea on not being able to acquire a land in Uttarakhand, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has promised full cooperation.

Hours after Rishabh Pant created a frenzy with a midnight post on social media, revealing his “nightmare” over futile efforts to acquire land in his native state of Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has promised full cooperation while appreciating the India cricketer’s desire to return to his “motherland”.
In a late-night post on X (formerly Twitter), Pant tagged CM Dhami and requested his assistance in acquiring land in Uttarakhand, while claiming he had been promised land for promoting the state.

“Dear Rishabh, You are pride of Uttarakhand. Through your outstanding performance and achievements, you have brought glory to Devbhoomi (Land of the Gods) across the country and around the world. Your love for your homeland and your desire to return and contribute to its development are truly commendable,” Dhami wrote on Saturday morning.
“With regard to the matter you have raised, the concerned authorities are being directed to take the necessary action. They will contact you shortly and ensure all possible assistance in accordance with the applicable rules and procedures,” he added.

India wicketkeeper-batter Pant, who hails from Uttarakhand, represents Delhi in domestic cricket.
In his social media post, the 28-year-old said he had been trying to shift his base from Delhi to Uttarakhand but had not been able to buy land to build a house.
“@pushkardhami hello sir how’s you ??? It’s a long time for me especially being local from Uttrakhand . I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttrakhand and I couldn’t find anything facilitating and big to live here I love my Uttrakhand. My humble request to us is please help me in land acquisition cause nowadays it had become nitemare with clarity and even other land is dew which was I supposedly get when I was promoting the state before keeping everything in side I wanna move back to my native place to help and built around Uttrakhand and I want to shif back to my Pahadi people please look into this matter it’s been 3 years didn’t get any land awaiting your answer @pushkardhami sir,” Pant posted on X.

In another post, Pant said he wanted to buy land from the government on which he wished to build his first house in Uttarakhand.

Seriously didn’t know how to do it,” Pant wrote.
Pant is currently with the Indian squad in Sri Lanka, where they are scheduled to play a two-match Test series starting August 15.
